Kevin Mains


Kevin Mains trained at Langside college of Performing Arts in Glasgow, Scotland. After graduating Kevin played Elvis Presley in the west end production of Million Dollar Quartet.

TV credits include playing Paul McCartney the ITV1 show, CILLA, starring Sheridan Smith, written by Jeff Pope. Kevin also played the role of Andrew Gow in OUTLANDER for Starz.

Kevin has written and starred in his own TV pilot HOW DO I GET UP THERE, commissioned by BBC Scotland. 

In 2015 Kevin starred in the 2 part BBC drama, based on the Iain Banks novel, STONEMOUTH, alongside Christian Cooke, Peter Mullan and Gary Lewis. He then went onto play a leading role in the BBC1 comedy MOUNTAIN GOATS. This was followed by a guest lead in SHETLAND for BBC Scotland. 

Kevin can be seen as FARQUHARSON next year in the remake of the feature film WHISKY GALORE, directed by Gillies MacKinnoon and starring Eddie Izzard. 

Most recently, Kevin played a supporting role on HOUDINI & DOYLE for FOX.
